Wiring thermostat to wood burning stove
    Thank You Mike,
What I did was just hooked up a squirrel cage with a motor to the wood burner. Now I want to make it run off a thermostat. Just have the two wires coming off the motor.

Go to your local air conditioning supply house and ask them for a line voltage heating only thermostat, take the wiring from the source (breaker or receptacle) to this thermostat and connect one of the wires( black wire) to one screw , then connect one of the wires(black wire) going to the blower to the other screw in the thermostat. What you will be doing is breaking the circuit on one wire, the other wire(white wire) from the source will not connect to any thing in the thermostat, it will go straight to the blower. This is for a 120 volt blower if yours is not 120 volt let me know and I will provide more info. Mike
