    Maytag stopped working maybe fuse?
    Hi,

I my breaker panel fuse blew when I was fixing the kitchen light and when I repaired everything I found out that my Maytag refrigerator MTB1954DRW stopped working. The lights are not on and it is not cycling, did I blow the fuse to the refrigerator? It came with the house and I don't even have the user manual for it. Any advise?

Wonder if frig and lighting on mult-circuit. Both use same Neutral. If neutrals were separated, while working on light, It could have caused a high or low voltage problem. Would follow power cord, and into frig, locating open in circuit, with voltage tester.

Could you tell us more about the repair you did to the lights? Are the lights and the frig on separate circuits?

I know it's a stupid question, we are assuming receptice has power, or you plugged into known good circuit?

Thanks guys, it was not the fridge, it was the old wiring in the house. I should have checked the plugs before posting.
