    Requiring judgement
Last year there was a judgement granted against me for a credit card debt, I made arrangements to make payments with the lawyer handeling the judgement.

I was making monthly pmts when they garnished my bank accts (I understand they can do that) they were able to get 5000.00 of the 8000.00 judgement.

It has now been 3 months and today I was served another summons to appear in court in 2 weeks or go to jail, what can I do?

    Please help!

They can not put you in jail for a debt. Now what they may be saying is this is a court summons, and if you don't appear in court, it is possible the judge will find you in contempt for not appearing. ** although seldom happens in civil courts.
