I am getting my period every other week
I am 23 years old and have stop taking my birth controls pill for over 2 months. Every since I have stopped, I have been getting my period every other week. Is it normal or is there a health problem behind it? Thanks

The only way to tell for sure is to visit your doctor. Getting off the pill is a big transition for your body, and it can throw your periods off track. But like I said, the only way to be sure what is going on with your body is to see your doctor. :)

This can be very normal as your body is trying to recover from the effects of synthetic hormones. It can take a while for your body to begin producing the right amount of natural hormone.

However, since we do not know your medical history, it would be in your best interest to contact your health care provider and schedule a visit to make sure it is nothing more serious.

Understand that the info you get here regarding medical is very limited and cannot be construed as a proper diagnosis. Only your doctor can tell you for a fact if this is okay for you.
