    Could i be pregnant?
So I thought I was going to wait until I really loved someone to have sex, and I took pride in the fact that I had waited longer than most of my friends, but it was one of those nights where you drink a little too much and there's not really any of your close friends there to look out for you. I guess a lot of people hear this question when first-timers freak out and think they are pregnant, but I'm pretty scared so I'm going to ask anyway. So I thought I had ended my period that day but then during sex, which I don't remember much of except the pain (this was a very bad experience), he said he thought the condom might have broken. When he checked he told me that it hadn't but that I was bleeding. I think that the bleeding was from something else, because it only lasted a few hours after that but it was very light and could have been the end of my period. Also he wasn't very gentle(at all) and it was my first time. I don't really know him very well and it was a bad situation so I am worried that he lied about the condom breaking so that he wouldn't scare me or something. But either way, lets say it did break and I had finished my period that day, is it possible for me to be pregnant? I have been feeling really nauseous and had little to no appetite and have had weird feverish sensations for the past few days just randomly on and off. This happened about a week and a half ago. PLEASE HELP!

While it is possible to get pregnant any time you have sex, protected or not, it is unlikely that you are. You see ovulation typically occurs around 12 - 14 days after the first day of your period. So, chances are that you were not ovulating and, as he said, the condom did not break. You should be good. You would actually be ovulating about now.

The bleeding was caused by having sex the first time. It is your hymen that broke and that is what caused the bleeding.

The other symptoms are most likely either a virus or possibly psychological because you are scared that you are pregnant.

And, hun, when drinking you need to take responsibility for yourself. Your friends should not have to do that for you.

It is possible that you are pregnant, but kind of unlikely. Most women are not very fertile until about 10-12 days after their period. But just keep in mind, that anything is possible, so it is a slight possibility.

All you can really do is wait and see if you miss your next period. Until then, I would see your doctor about the symptoms you've been experiencing. You could have a bug if you have been feeling feverish. :)
