Well,first you need to take things into consideration.

Like how many people are in the band,and what type of music do you play.

'Cause you can come up with a name that has a number in it,or a name that reflects your style.

Yeah what type of music do you play?? That could make it easier to think of something that would fit your style.
I like rather abstract names like
Inside out
Eclectic dysfunction
Ambiguous enigma
There is a local band where I live called strange brew

Just don't stick 'the' at the beginning of the name whatever you do!
What about naming yourself after a song by a favourite artist? That way you nod to somebody who has influenced you and people might recognise the name so it will seem more 'right' if that makes sense. Also using this method it should fit with your music style.

trial and error
gerald (comon, I want to see a band called gerald, itd be awesome!)
lost and found marbles
eskew
meat is moo-duh
sex objects

that's all I can think of at the moment, just get with your band, get a whiteboard, and write ideas etc all over it, then mix and match and meld ideas and write up new ones etc until you and your band find one that you really like
you can find inspiration even by flicking to random pages of the dictionary, etc
