Hello I have a daughter that is 6 years old my husband wants to adopt her but her perternal father still has rights I think how can I go about having him adopt her?:confused:

Without her birth father's permission you can't. He will have to voluntarily relinquish is rights so that she will be able to be adopted.

The father must sign his consent for your husband to adopt your daughter. If he will not give his consent then not much can be done.
