Installation of used above ground pool - 2 questions
A 5 year old above ground pool was given to us. We have hired a pool company to install it. There is some rust on the metal frame which was a concern to us. The man we have hired said that he will treat it with wall foam which should eliminate future rust. Does anyone know anything about this? Secondly, the frame was put up yesterday and it was installed upside down. The installer says that this won't make any difference, but I am wondering... Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Um, in the future you may ask for references about the hired hands you hire. And I believe I would tell him where he could stop at, which would be right then and tell him not to come back. I just don't like the sounds of his theories.

Wall foam will not stop the pool wall from rusting... any rust on a pool wall is bad news. I would think twice about paying for the install and new liner on a rusty pool ! Also, what type of above ground pool is this ? Round, oval or rect ? If your frame (track) is upside and the installer says its OK... tell him to take a hike ! Hope this answered your questions...
