    I would like to know if creditors can garnish wages in the state of TX.

    Not sure if this will make you feel any better but I did see a lawyer on this same question in Spring Tx last Friday. They can garnish your wages, but only for child support and IRS stuff. They can freeze your bank account though if they have a judgement. Hope that helps!:o
