My hampton bay celing fan remote has a red LED light that is now on and my ceiling fan is going off on its own. I changed the 9 volt battery and still the same. Any ideas?

Sounds like the remote transmitter button stuck on. Maybe take apart and repair as necessary. Light needs to go off, or it will continue transmitting until button releases, or battery removed.

One of the buttons is stuck. Find out which one.
