My 98 Honda Accord won't start. When the ignition is turned on there is a loud, rapid clicking but the engine won't turn over. The battery is fully charged and the connections are fine. It worked fine last night. Any suggestions? Thanks.

My car will start in the morning, but when I turn it off after a brief minute it will not start again for 30 mintutes or so. Runs fine when it does run, I have replaced main relay for fuel pump, coil, plugs, wires, cap and button. I recently checked the computer and it is giving me the code 6. My check engine light is now on since this problem just started. Do any one know what is the code #6 mean. Help!!
Code 6 means there's something wrong with the coolant temperature sensor.
Did you buy a brand new main relay or just bought a used one? If you bought a used one - take it out and resolder it's joints. It's all in the FAQ.
If I were you, I'd disconnect the negative battery terminal for 15 seconds to clear ECU memory, connect it back on, start it, let it run for a minute on it's own. Turn it off and then check error codes again.
