I am back on the message board again with yet another question. Sadly I miscarried on July 3, 2007. The doctors did not know the cause of the miscarriage, I just started cramping and spotting which later led to a complete miscarriage. When I went to the ER my Hcg levels were too low for the amount of weeks I was and this alarmed the doctors as early signs of a miscarriage. So when I went to my OB and got a vaginal ultrasound(ie. Before the miscarriage took place) he saw a small cyst on my right ovary and wanted to follow up on it. [ I was in the process of miscarrying when he saw this] My follow up was today August 8, 2007 and it looks like I'm pregnant again, the ultrasound showed a sac and a thickening of the endometrium. My question is are my chances of miscarrying increased being that I'm pregnant so soon w/o even having my first normal cycle after the miscarriage.

So sorry for your loss hun. Congrats on your new found pregnancy. J9 correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think your chances of miscarrying are any higher because you are pregnant again so quickly. Many women will have miscarriages at some point in their lives, though most will have it happen so early they won't even realize that they were pregnant yet. Most doctors will suggest that you wait 1-3 cycles before trying again, however this is mostly for your health and recovery. This is definitely a question for your doctor, though, as they know you medical history and immediate condition much better then any of us could really know for sure. I am sure doctors will keep a close eye on you and this pregnancy to make sure all is well, but I don't think there is any major reason for concern. Good luck to you

I don't think your chance of m/c is any higher due to that. Just try to relax and enjoy th this new start as much as possible.

I'm sorry for your loss, but at least you were able to get pregnant again and I don't think you will miscarry again
