    Two months late ?
Okay. I started my period around mid-June, it is now August 7th and it hasn't happened since. Im really scared that there's something wrong. I can't be pregnant because Im still a virgin, but what else can it be? I can't go to a doctor because that would mean I would have to discuss this with my mom and we just don't talk about things like that. She would probably just say that I'm a little late if I WAS to say anything. But nearly 2 months? That can't be normal.. Please, I'm really scared and I need help in what to do.

    Let's start simple.

How old are you? How long have you been getting your period?

This could be caused by stress, or hormonal factors. If you are a virgin there isn't anything to worry about. It can be completely normal.

You need to talk to your mom. It you are very athletic or have recently lost weight that could have upsetted your cycle. Or did you recently start any type of medication. No treatment is usually given until it has been around 6 months without a period. If you still feel uncomfortable talking to your mom, what about an aunt or school nurse.

Oh hunny when you start your period for the first time it isn't always regular. It can take a while to get itself on track. If this becomes a worry for you, see a doctor about what is going on. :)

Sweetie, this is very normal for your first cycle. Some girls get one and then not another for 3 or more months. It takes up to 2 years to become regular. There is really nothing to worry about. Just make sure you carry some pads with you just in case.

No need to see a doctor if this was your first and you aren't sexually active. As I said, it can take quite a while to become regular.
