    Growing grass in shady areas
I can't get any grass to grow in extremely shady areas. I have tried St Augustine and Bermuda grass. What type of grass will grow in these areas. The area in question has oak trees, some mountain laurels, and red oaks. The area is approximately 50 ft by 60 ft.

First I Would Suggest Spreading Powdered Lime Onto The Area, This Will Give The Soil A Better Ph. Then You May Plant Your Grass , And They Sell A Shaded Area Grass Seed At Walmart. Also, You Could Try Zoysia Grass Plugs, I Hear They Do Well.
