My refrigerator will not get that cold.The freezer side won't freeze as fast as normal.Some water leaks from under it a little.I want to know what to do about it.It is an Amana.

It might be the fan. I had the same problem in with my Amana and we just had a repair person come out and fix it. Eventually we just had to get a new one but we were able to get away with one repair to the fan for about 2 years.

I first would start by cleaning coils and condensing motor very well. Dirt, dust etc. will keep unit from removing heat, thus unit not cooling well. Then if problem still exsist, check the evaporator and make sure there is not a build up of heavy frost or ice. If it is be sure the evap fan is running proper speed. Check the defrost timer and heater. Check door seals to make sure they are not damaged and sealing properly. If all these check OK check the cold control.
