    Weak spark
    Hi al again

Had some trobble with my fuel p ump but sorted that out but now the car still won't start as there is a "week" spark from the leads. I got a second hand dizzy and replaced the cap and rotor. Also replaced plugs to no effect. Can anyone shed anylight on this?

Read sections A and B below:

Focus on Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil. Disconnect negative. Battery cable and ensure ICM and coil contacts are clean and tight. If this doesn't solve the problem, have these components tested/replaced. AutoZone will test them for free. Coat contacts with a light coating of dielectric grease.

    Mmm

Suspect it could be the ignition module.

I have a spare d15 vtec dizzy lying around. Could I use bits from this for my d16 vtec dizzy?

Before you start cannibalizing your D15 VTEC distributor, run a part number check on the ICM and coil, for instance. You don't want to damage your ECM, by installing an incompatible component.
