How to correct hair color that is too dark I am looking for a home remedy

If you want to go 2-3 shades lighter, you will need to lighten your hair with bleach (hydrogen peroxide) or some kind hair lightening product. It's best to go to the salon if you intend to go lighter. But if you want to fade the color a little, you can use clarifying shampoos, dandruff shampoos or dish detergent. Over-washing your hair can dry it out, be sure to use a conditioner or do a deep conditioning treatment afterwards to restore moisture in your hair.
