could I have a random hair follicle on sole of my foot?
Feels like a splinter, but it's a hair! About 1/2 inch long. I pulled the first one and a month or so later another grew in the same spot. How strange is it?

Manda, are you a woman? If you are, welcome to the wonderful world of the follically challenged females! No one tells us that rogue hairs grow on unwelcome areas of our bodies. Happens to the majority of us. Personally, I blame my grandmother. All kidding aside, even though I have never had that happen to me with the sole of the foot, it does happen. You are normal. It just depends on genetics my dear. Just keep the tweezer handy. ;)

    Hi!

I have now for third time in about a year recurring hair in the same place, two of them, in the arch area of the bottom of my right foot. I really wonder if through electrolysis they can stop them in the case when they actually return. Do dermatologists do that? Has anyone else had the same experience. All the blogs I read people are finding non-follicle stray hairs not their own. This is the first I found with someone sharing about actual recurring hair in the bottom of the foot. Does anyone know what causes this?

    Thanks!
