Hello I'm tying a 3 inch horizonal ABS into an existing 3 inch horizonal ABS line at a 90 degree angle under a 4 inch slab.the main line will not move,is there a special y fitting to make the connection. Also have a venting question which would be easier with a picture how do I attach the jpg.Thanks

I hope someone knows what all this means. Sometimes if put in simple plumbing language some of us can help if not a plumbing specialist. So... you will have to wait for a specialist.

You will cut a 3" ABS combination wye and 1/8th bend, (see image), into the main. Cut, prime and glue a short piece of ABS pipe into the hub of the combo. Lay the combo on the main where you wish to take off and mark the length of the fitting from base of hub to end of the glued in pipe. Add 1/4" to the cut to accommodate the Fernco Shielded Coupling,(see image) you will use to make the male to male connection. Be sure to put a level on the branch of the combo and give it a 1/'8th of a bubble slope back to the main.
To attach a image, scam the image to disc on your computer and run down the page to "manage attachments" and pull it right out of your disc. You have a 293 KB and a 750 Pixel limit on attachments on this site.

Thanks Tom,that's exactly what I needed to know,the guys at the big home store said there was no part to do it with without cutting out half the foundation.
Next question,where is the best place to vent.the toilet is 5.5 ft from the new tie in and the vent is 3 ft from there the flow is from the old toilet toward the new connection. Also there will be a shower drain between the vent and new fitting.the tubin the pic I was planning on tying into the where the old toilet was and vent between the drain and connection.if that is sufficient that isAttachment 4099

Can you draw in the lavatory so I can see where that vent will be? Regards, Tom

Originally there was a tub with drain and water through the slab where the lavatory is now.I don't know how or even if there was a vent there, when I put the lavatory in, the water drained slow so I put on an aav vent.There are only 2 vents,behind the old toilet,my reference is off a little on the diagram where the tub will be(the original lavatory) and the one next to the shower(another lavatory,go figure!)through the attic.From lavatory drain to vent is about 7 ftAttachment 4101
