What can I do? In New York
My uncle was caught DUI in 1996 with his mistress in the Bronx. He hit and killed the person he hit. He then kicked his mistress out of the car and ran back to Queens . At that point he took the money for our house and ran to Italy with it and never came back. If he comes in the states , he will be arrested. There's a warrant. Can't FBI or CIA do something?

My Godfather was born in Italy, Italian Law states, you must serve your country for at least one year during your prime, or face two years jail time. We have mostly boys in my family and we have lost a lot of our guys. And he's a disgrace to us. But he must go or the Italian Law states the Eldest male next of kin is to be places in jail to serve the time for him. The next of kin ( since my godfathers' father has passed away) is my 77-year -old grandfather! My grandfather's been aching to go to Italy so bad, because he wants to pass away there in peace . Not in jail.

I know there's something I could do, but I don't know exactly what? Someone out there please help

    Hello NS:

I believe we have an extradition treaty with Italy. If they arrest him there, he will be brought back here. I don't know why they don't arrest him.

Your second question has to do with Itallian law, and I barely know American law.
