    System Clock Keeps Changing
Hi, My system clock is changing. When in windows it jumps from the year 2007 to 3007. If I boot only into the BIOS it changes from 2007 to 1999. I have changed the motherboard battery, and I have done checks on my RAM sticks - all check out okay. I have reformatted the PC twice, still experiencing the problem. Faulty motherboard?

It could be a faulty motherboard, or just a fauly BIOS. If it was a system you bought from a company, try their website for a BIOS Update download. If you built it yourself, try the manufacturer of the motherboard's website.

Thank you, retsoksirhc. I apologize, I should have included in my initial post that I have flashed the BIOS with the most current version from the manufacturer without change. I'm beginning to wonder if the connection of the battery to the motherboard is bad... I don't have the knowledge to make that fix. Guess I may have to bring it in to a hardware tech...
    I appreciate your response!

I suspect a problem with the clock chip.

Scott, I'm going to go with your response and take it to my hardware people to check the clock chip... I feel I have tried everything else.
As far as I'm concerned we can close this post...
    Thank you.
