    If I take my landlord to court and I loose will I have to pay his/her court costs

    I think so... but it might only be if they countersue...

    Justice Matters
    In civil proceedings it is generally the rule that the court will order the losing party to pay all or part of the winning party's costs. In many small claims court the actually court fees paid by the parties are relatively small as are costs awards for legal representation if they are permitted at all.
