    Quiet Title
I purchased 2 properties [lots] in Arkansas 2 years ago this week, through the county tax sale. How do I proceed with a quiet title, in order to get a clear deed to the property? Hodg

Didn't you have a title search done at the time of purchase?

Did you get a tax deed or a tax certificate ( each state has its own rules)

But the tax deed once issued is very valid, and there is no need at all for a quiet title filing unless there is a claim from some previous owner.

A tax deed is a clear title ( deed) to the property. I buy and sell tax properties all the time and have never had to do a quiet title action.
I had one property where there was a possible issue, but I merely let them have it for my cost.
