There was this guy that had been wanting to go out with me and I started to like him too but at the time I had a boyfriend so me and him didn't go out. Well four months later he started to go out with my friend (but he didn't know we were friends). Me and her are not "Best friends" or anything and we're not close (we just talked to each other because we were in the same history class). Well her and him broke up almost a week ago and if he ever tries to go out with me again, I don't know what to do! I really want to be with him and the whole time him and her were going out it hurted so bad to see them two together because I had been wanting him before them two even started going out! Is it wrong to go out with him now? Its just that I don't want her to find out or get mad but its not like me and her are tight (we just talked to each other in class) what should I do?

I would definitely go out with him if he asks you. If you feel that way about him you need to give it a chance to see if it's really something special. This is especially so if you are not that close with the girl. She will probably get mad if she finds out just because no ex-girlfriend likes her guy dating anyone else, let alone someone she knows, but you have to ask whether if this could really be something special it is worth having her mad at you. If it's worth it, then give it a try if he asks.

Yes she will find out and yes she will get mad. If you didn't think anything of this girl I don't think you would be questioning it. You seem concerned for her feelings, if that's the case I'd drop it. I'm sure there are plenty of other guys out there for you to date and who want to date you.

Go for it. If y'all aren't even close, then what have you got to lose? If it's something where you would feel badly for her feelings being hurt/upset, then don't but if you know she would get over it soon and you wouldn't feel bad... go for it:)

Talk to her about it, it shows you have respect for her feelings.
