OEM licensed version. Some restrictions apply
There are no limitations in product's functionality, but product will lack automatic updates from vendor and retail type registration with vendor.
Is there a question here?
Yes, what does this mean. I went to purchase Microsoft office 2007 enterprise edition and this statement was there.
OEM versions are 'white box' products intended to be either installed by a vendor or by company with a corporate license (i.e. your Enterprise edition). Normally a home consumer would not have such a product.
You should still be able to get updates for your product if it registers normally with Microsoft.
OEM is simply just the program, no fancy packaging, no manual and most likely no online or phone support. Most computers from Dell etc come with OEM software, it will work fine and you can go and download updates but it won't update itself and is not intended for re-sale.
