    Family rights
    Hi ,
After a negotiated marriage, a lady finds out that her in-laws are not at all co-operative. They ask for rent to stay at the house which is owned by her father-in-law. They also insists that the loan should be cleared by her husband which was taken to build the house by her father-in-law. Her in-laws behave very rudely with her without any reason and for any fault of her husband, they blame her and utter all slangs for her. What are her rights in the house ?

    Regards

What country is the house in?
In the US a landlord may not enter a tennants house without permission even though the landlord owns the house.

What's wrong with asking for rent to live in a house?

As for the rest, it depends on where she lives.

This depends on the culture based on where she's living. If she's in India then parent/child living arrangements are much different than they are here. Also, it's my understanding that negotiated/arranged marriages need to be approved by all family members before they take place. (That comes from a former co-worker from Bangalore who had an arranged marriage.) If that didn't happen there could be hard feelings.
