I have a friend that comes to work crying everyday. She tells me that when she goes to bed ad tries to touch her husband that he turns over so she can not touch him and they have sex only once every 2 months he is 10 years older than she is. I don’t know what to tell her, I think he is messing over her what is your take on this?

44 and 55

It could be for any reason: medical, stress, age, depression, problems within the relationship, anything. It does not necessarily mean that he's messing around on her.

Yeah at 55 some problems can arise for men. He may have a low libido to begin with or maybe something is going on with him that is causing his libido to be lower.

I think all you can tell her is that she needs to stop talking to you about how upset it makes her and start talking to her husband. You cannot solve her problem for you and speculate on why he is doing what he is doing she needs to talk to him. Tell her you will be here as a shoulder to cry on but she needs to talk to him (have I said that enough? LOL).

Thanks I have asked her to talk to him. She had me convinced he is messimg around but he was just recently told he was a diabetic and he was put on blood pressure meds. They mess with your sex life I know for sure. Thanks

Oh without a doubt and I'd bet money on the fact that he can't perform for her is making him feel even worse which is probably making the situation even worse for him

Perhaps he's lost interest and is not comfortable communicating and feels trapped.

When they DO have sex what are the circumstances?

Perhaps what turns him on is particular.
