    Property Tax in TN
    Dear you.

I hear that in TN State you don't need to pay for property tax.

So what is the hidden tax on the property?

Do you think it's a good deal to purchase house in TN for either personal usage or investment purpose.

    :)

    Thank you

Who told you that TN has no real estate tax? I don't live there, so have no first hand experience, but a quick Google search turns up plenty of sites regarding tax assessment on TN property. Check your sources.

States use three main tax models; property taxes, income taxes and sales taxes. Not all states have the latter two, but I think all of them use property taxes at some level.

Yes, there is property tax in TN.

There is no state income tax.

We also have high sales tax... in my county, it's 9.25%.
