I am 18 weeks pregnant, I went yesterday for an ultrasound, which I found out that my baby is a boy, and I was wondering if anyone knows how accurate that really is? I asked the tech how often she is right, and she said that she doesn't know. Anyone have an idea how accurate this is?

I would say they are about 95% accurate. I only know of one couple, personally, who were told they were going to have a boy and they had a girl.

I don't have an exact percentage of how accurate they are, but I do know that in some cases the umbilical cord can be mistaken for a penis, therefore they think it is a boy, and out comes a little girl :)
