    Gushing Bubbles
    Hi every time I let the water out of my bathtub I get a large amount of bubbles gushing out of the toilet bowl?? :confused:

    Hey Angel,
    As a rule this means that you have a partial blockage downstream from the toilet. "Bubbles" are caused by back pressure produced when the discharge from the tub hits a obstruction and bounces back sending a bubble of air ahead of it and then drains past the blockage. The answer is to (1) go down the tub waste and overflow and snake out the branch line all the way to the stack or (2) pull the toilet and snake from there. Door number one's the easiest and the one I'd try first. Good luck, Tom
