    I need to lose 50 pounds by January 1, 2008
    Hi I'm new to the site. My name is Aaron. I'm 14 years old and weight about 180. I need to get to about 130 or 135. I'd like to do it by Jaunary 1, 2008 about 5 months from now. I know diet amd exercize are the only solutions, but I need actual tips, such as what meals make me lose the most weight? Things like that. I test different foods with other foods or drinks and see what workd best. I know that 1 cup of water and a lemon if you eat the whole lemon (not the outer shell) and drink 1 cup of water that in 2 hours you lose .4 pounds. I need more tips like this... Even a complete food guide would help and how do I know what foods make me lose the most weight because all people are different and I was wondering what I should eat/drink to lose the most weight. Thanks Again!

    Any info would help!

    50 pounds is a lot of weight and if you want to lose it and keep it off you need to make real changes in your diet and lifestyle. If you try quick fixes it will just come back and then some.

    It's simple eat a serving of protein and fruits and vegetables at every meal. If you load up on fruits and veggies you are filling your body with fiber which will make you feel fuller. Drink lots of water and start to exercise.

    If you feel that you need a plan maybe you should talk to your parents about seeing a nutritionist or trying a program like Weight Watchers.

    If you drink soda stop and that will help you lose weight. Eat slower and chew food longer. Try eating smaller meals throughout the day instead of bigger ones. See if you can get your whole family involved so you have support.
    Try to increase your water intake to give you a full feeling in your stomach.

    Simple tip to loose weight fast including diet and exercise

    First of all eat only natural. No processed hormone or pesticides.

    Eat only organic fruits and vegies, don't mess with them too much. i.e. no added sauce or butter limit red meat. Organic only no frying and watch fish intake due to mercury. Limit sauce and butter. No junk foods no prepakagedfoods


    Also don't go for the white rice stick to brown.

    Exercise, exercise, exercise get away from the computer and start running. It's cheap and you don't need a gym membership or any expensive equipment and good luck. I can't guarantee it will work but at least you will get the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

    Also note that you are still growing and that weight you mentioned may not be a good target weight for you. Contact your pediatrician to set a proper goal.

    I think you should eat natural things, and try eating loadz of vegetables! You should have at least 3 or 4 pieces of fruit a day. You should avoid snacks and that sort of things, although you can have on of those occasionally, otherwise you may suffer from anxiety.
    Take your time, eat good, and make a little bit of sport, because that may help!
