    1999 Grand Am signal problem
I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am. The flasher continues to click after the turn signal has cancelled. Since the noise was coming from the flasher behind the 4 way flasher button, I replaced that which according to the dealer is the only flasher. It still continues to click when it shouldn't, almost constantly! I then read in a forum that sometimes the grease in the turn signal switch will cause the power to jump across tue terminals and that cleaning the switch will fix it. Cleaned the switch, still clicking! I read somewhere that there is a relay under the hood in the fuse box, but haven't been able to locate it. The blinkers work fine, as well as the hi-lo beam switch, it just the constant clicking coming from the 4 way flasher switch. Any idea what to try next? My only thought was to try a switch from a junkyard since I believe the dealer wants over $100 for one. Thanks in advance.
