hi, there, I just bought a 6' Eljer acrylic garden tub for a new bathroom (room is 12 x 12, so that is okay). I haven't a clue about how to install this, and bought it as new/old stock from an individual, so no instructions. Is it going to need something like a wooden cradle to support it? It has an apron, and I am guessing it will need some sort of surround. Is there going to be anything complicated about installing a drain for this kind of tub? What have I gotten myself into here? All advice will be gratefully received. Thank you, callie

The best advice I can give on this is to get free estimates from a bunch of plumbers and listen as they tell you what needs to be done. Likely you will not do this project yourself.
