How do I get rid of the biggest pimple in the world?¿
Hi,
Well pimples come when your face is either left dirty for a long time or your skin is very oily. Wash your face in every 2 hours, if a use make up avoid it for some days and also drink a lot of water. It shall help.
Actually, pimples don't just come when your face is dirty or even if your skin is oily. I wouldn't suggest washing your face every 2 hours either, as it can irritate your face. We get pimples because of clogged pores but usually it's what's in your body, not what's on the outside, like dirt, oil, and grime. I get pimples and I have extremely dry skin and wash my face two times a day! Do you have any 10% benzoil peroxide cream? Just keep applying that, or if you want to be rough and tough, which I do when I'm really frustrated with it, which is really not recommended, but it can be done. I pop it and then put alcohol in it to kill all the germs, then I put antibacterial cream on it and keep it wet with that all day (if you're alone) so then it can't form a scab and it usually is gone by the next day. But people don't usually suggest that harsh treatment! That's a "in case of emergency" only!
Ok lets get this straight :) Pimples occur when your pores are clogged due to your skins inability to exfoliate dead skin cells. Don't overwash your face, this will cause more breakouts. 2 to 3 times per day is enough. Don't ever pinch, squeeze or pick at a pimple. This only causes it to become more red and inflamed, and will spread the bacteria and oils that caused it in the first place, to other parts of your face! It can also lead to scars. Every 30 minutes, apply an ice pack to the pimple and hold it there for about 2 minutes. This will decrease the swelling and redness and help shrink the inflammation and pain that sometimes comes along with it. Cleanse your skin 2-3 times a day with mild, unscented soap or a specialized acne cleanser that has no harsh chemicals. Scrub skin gently with an exfoliating pad or washcloth, but don't rub too hard, otherwise you'll sap your skin of its own natural oils, which help to repel buildup naturally. Apply a cream or ointment containing benzyl peroxide or salicylic acid (many over-the-counter acne medicines contain these ingredients) to the blemish or around the entire facial area. Note that these ingredients both have a tendency to dry out skin if used too much and are not recommended if you have sensitive skin. If you're in need of a quick fix, a dab of toothpaste on the affected area right before bed can help soothe irritation and reduce redness. Pressing and holding a wet tea bag or a cotton ball with a dab of lemon juice against the blemish for five minutes can also reduce swelling and redness. Covering the pimple with a light dose of flesh-tinted concealer can help mask it when you're in a hurry. It also helps cover up that oily shine. Remember to wear an oil free make-up as well that is non-comdegenic.
