    Shaving alternatives during pregnancy.
:) Okay... hello again to everyone first of all... it's been a while since I've posted anything. I have been around though. I have a question concerning alternatives to shaving during pregnancy... other than waxing! I'm 24 weeks along and I'm getting to the point where I can't get to some areas. If anyone has any tips or suggestions please let me know, they'd be very much appreciated. I just don't want to look like a '70s porn star in the delivery room if you get what I'm saying... you should if you've seen the educational birthing videos. Ick! Anyway... thanks for any help!

    Hugs,

Do you have a significant other that can shave for you? My husband did it for me. If not, there are hair removal creams you can try. They have Nair (it stinks, but it works), and they have one especially for the genital area. You can also try Veet, I've heard great things about that product. :)

:) I do have my husband, but he's not real comfortable with doing it because he's scared he'll cut me... and in all honesty, if he's scared then I'm scared. Thanks for your suggestions of Nair and Veet... I'll look into them!

You're welcome. My husband was scared he was going to cut me too, but I would just tell him that I trusted him and he would calm down and feel better. I hope those removal creams work for you :)

I hope they do too! I really hated to ask a question like that... but I didn't know who else to ask... I thought I'd look around and see what I could find but also thought that maybe someone here would have the answer. Anyway, thanks so much!
