Hi. I want to find out the name of a movie I watched as a kid but can only remember the first scenes from it. It was set back in time and involved a woman putting a baby in a basket in the ocean and then it floating out to sea and ending up in some sort of kingdom surrounded by rocky cliffs...

It would have been an 80s- early 90s film

You may be thinking of the movie "Willow" (1988) staring Val Kilmer and Warwick Davis.

Nah it's not Willow. I know Willow, I love that movie. I was actually thinking my description may have sounded similar to willow when I posted it.

It might not have even been a basket that she put the baby in... maybe a wooden box or something.
