Weird Period? Could I be pregnant?
I had my regular period from the July 14-20 (I usually get it every three to four weeks). Then it stopped. On the 27th I started again AFTER ONLY A WEEK, but for the first time since I can ever think of, I had no pain. I also had no lining and my period is a little lighter than normal, but does not look like spotting. We do not use protection or any kind of birth control method, and we have actually been trying to get me pregnant. Is pregnancy a possibility? Could this be caused by anything else?

Pregnancy is always a possibility when you are having sex. I just wanted to put that out there first and foremost.

Some women bleed midcycle during ovulation, when the egg is released from the ovary. Also, medications such as birth control can cause you to bleed midcycle, along with infection of the pelvic organs.

Your best bet would be to see a doctor and discuss this with him. He will know what to do, and know what to prescribe you, if need be. :)

Thank you for the reply :) But I'm still confused... If I was bleeding midcycle, would I have lining or not? @_@ Also, if it were due to infection, wouldn't it be blood in the urine?? I don't quite understand :P

Midcycle bleeding does not usually contain uterine lining. If you are bleeding due to ovulation or pelvic infection, the bleeding would be coming from somewhere else besides the uterus. It is best for you to see a doctor about these concerns :)
