    Protecting Brass
    Any one have any suggestions for preventing brass kick plate on my front door from tarnishing? I considered clear laquer but need any alternatives.

    Periodic application of a cleaner/polish such as Brasso will keep the finish in Bristol condition.

    There is also a product on the market called "Brass Wizard" made specifically for Brass, and it is such a good finish, many boats (sail & power) use it to protect their brass, which tarnishes quickly exposed to salt water/air. Cheers!
