I have 2 Rockies tickets from the first Rockies game. Mint condition. I once saw a set in a mall. Asking price was $300. Could this really be possible? This was also a long time ago.

Yes, it could be possible. People are going to try to get what they can as far as prices for collectibles. I have an antique print hanging on one of my walls that could be worth anywhere from about $50.00 to around $350.00 based upon finding something similar in antique stores.
I would think that your best bet would be to take your tickets to a place that sells similar things and see what they have to say. The second thing that I have to say is, do you want to get rid of them? They might make good conversation pieces if you don't want to sell them. But, you could put them in some kind of display with similar items and tell about how much they might be worth and how you acquired them.
Thanks for the reply. I'm not interested in selling them. I have them on display on a bookshelf in my living room. Just curious. Original face value was $4.00. Things have certainly changed.
