    Pennsylvania listing contract
I signed a listing contract for one year. With the market worsening, I want to cancel the contract and remove my home from the market. Am I bound by the listing contract to keep the house listed and available for showing through the term of the contract?

Check the wording of the contract. But generally they state that you have to list the house for sale exclusively with the broker you signed the contract with. Usually you can pull the house off the market, but you can't put it back on the market except with that broker until the year is up. Some contracts might be worded that, if you do return to the market, you may have to stay with the broker for the balance of time (i.e you pulled out after 6 months, but you put it back on sale a year later, you might still have to list for the remaining 6 months.
