I am writing an Intent To Defend letter for my parents to file in a court case where a credit card company is suing them. They are disabled and can't afford an attorney, does anyone know where I can find a free online form to go by in order for this to be correct. I am desperate here as time is passing us by. We live in Texas, thank you in advance.

You can do a Google search or ask the court what format they need. But this doesn't need to be overly formal.

I, <insert debtor's name> do hereby file my intent to defend against the charges bought by <insert creditor's name> in case # <insert docket or case #>.

I hereby request a hearing on the matter as soon as possible.

That should be sufficient.
