This should be easy enough to fix. It sounds like by uninstalling this program you have also removed your sound drivers. I accidentally did it on my PC at work the other day.

First, do you have any CD's that came with your PC? If there is one for your soundcard, I would try reinstalling what's on that.

Failing that, what is the make & model of your PC (e.g. Dell Optiplex SX280)? PC manufacturers often put their drivers up for download on their homepage. A lot will ask you for PC's serial number or service tag (which will be on a sticker on your case). They will then be able to use this to direct you to a page of driver downloads personalised to your PC. From this list, it should be easy to download and reinstall what you removed. So it might be worth using a search engine to find your manufactures homepage and going from there.

If you/a friend built the PC - What make & model is your sound card? If you know this you could go directly to the manufacturer’s website and download the driver. Driver downloads tend to be easy to find and will either being in an obvious "driver download" section or they will come under support.
