My fl26 stopped while I was trimming the grass. Now the starter will not come out to allow me to restart the machine. Prior to this alst start the starter rope was feeling harder and harde rto pull. What could be the problem?

The Rope Could Have Jumped Off The Rewind Spool, There Could Be A Loose Screw, Or You May Have A Locked Up Cylinder. Tear Down And Visually Inspect.
