Kid's movie (small humans living in the forest)
    Hello to all,

I am trying to find out the movie which I have watched 20 years ago. There were small humans living in the forest. And 2 brothers and sisters were on a holiday with their parents or grandparents on a hotel near the forest, and 2 of these small humans got in their picnic box and then became friends with the children. Those small humans living in the forest were wearing colorful natural clothes and singing songs. Those are the scenes I can remember.

I have searched on the internet very hard, but as I cannot remember the name or any artist of the movie (as I was a kid then... ) I couldn't find any information.

I hope someone will help me :)

Well, this is really more the bailiwick of my esteemed colleague stardust713, but I'll take a shot at it. Could it be the animated series The Littles from 1983? Which was based on The Borrowers.

Ok I haven't seen this movie since I was very young but I remember I LOVED it and I would watch it all the time but I'm pretty sure the movie you're thinking of is the live action feature "The Gnome-Mobile" (1967) Based on the book written by Upton Sinclair.

It stars Ed Wynn (Uncle Albert from Marry Poppins as well as the voice of the Mad Hatter from Disney's "Alice in Wonderland") It also stars Matthew Garber and Karen Dotrice The children from "Mary Poppins"

I can't remember any exact scenes but I remember It is about a group of Gnomes (portrayed as very tiny people) living in the forest and they are befriended by these two children and their millionaire grandfather. They sing a song that I think goes as such, "ridding along in the Gnome Mobile"

Hey I could be wrong. The poster hasn't replied yet. The Littles is as close a match as The Gnome-Mobile, based on the information given.
