    Electrical 220vs 110
A friend has a 220V industrial grade "Grizzly" shop vacuum/dust collection system.

She had it plugged into a 110 V outlet and it worked fine until I was using it and a table saw at the same time and tripped the breaker.

Now the vacuum works but it sounds different.

I suspect that only half of the sysytem is working or the motor burned out.

It is basically a new sysytem

Is this something I can handle or is pro help needed.

    Thanks

The vacuum motor possibly shot. Don't plug 220 volt items into 120 Volts.
Was the end of the plug changed to accomplish this?
Table saw still works? Saw should work.
Motors hate low voltages, 120 volts to a 240 volt motor, is equivalent to a lot of extension cords.
