i was on holiday in valencia and found a painting that intigued me. it was in the cathrdral of valencia but as i don't speak spanish at all i could not make sense of info written below it. What i did get was what i am sure is the title..... Capilla de la beuta josefa and i thought the artist was Naval Girbes i now think N G may have been more of the title of this piece. not too sure!!! I have searched wikipedia and all kinds of places for a copy and info of this picture but to no avail. i have found some links through the title but they say the lady in the picture was born in 1820. the painting was dated 1790????????? any i deas on where i can find more about this enigmatic picture?
