MUST know what kind of spider this is
I have got to figure out what kind of spider this is. I live in north Georgia and every one I ask has no idea what kid of spider is surrounding my porches. It's brown with yellow stripes on its legs with a black and yellow triangle on its back. Please give any info you can!! Thanks!

I googled and am guessing it is this:

    Cobweb Spider - Steatoda triangulosa

If that's an hourglass (not triangle) on its back, it could be this:

Brieanna! I found your spider (and mine! )

I saw your pic and I was like "YES that's my spider too!"

    Turns out it's a Hentz Orbweaver :)
Arthropod Museum, Dept. of Entomology, University of Arkansas

Hairy yellow/black alternating legs, two big white dots, and lines of yellow/black on sides of abdomen!

I'm in north Tennessee near Nashville.

So excited, I can sleep in peace now knowing that the spider outside my children's window isn't planning to wrap them up in silk hehehe :)

Firmbeliever beat me to it. It's one of several orb weaving spiders, including writing spiders and garden spiders, that are very active right now in the southeastern US. They are fascinating to watch, but if you want them to go away simply break up their webs.

I admit I did not check the date on the OP. You did get the I.D. right, though.
