I need to strip my hair of blue dye.
 my natural hair color is red. and i dyed the tips of my hair and my bangs blue. but its fading into a greenish color, and it looks horrible. i need to get rid of the blue from my tips. wat would be the best way to do this. i can't go to a salon. so i am prolly gonna do it at home, wat should i do?

Stripping your hair is harmful to your hair, and may cause your hair to become very brittle. It removes all unnatural color from your hair so that all you have left is your natural color. It usually works. If you're willing to risk making your hair very brittle, damaged, and week I suggest you see a professional, but if you do insist on doing it yourself, maybe for money reasons, make sure you use a damaged hair cream for your hair (along with shampoo and conditioner meant for damaged hair).

I'm guessing you used a semi-permanent dye - short of a professional hair stripping I think you may just have to wait it out. Maybe try a shampoo that cleans out build up? I'm not sure if that will do anything but that's all I can think of.

Nothing except time and hair stripping works. I used semi-permanent black dye on my hair and I still have it even though I dyed my hair two years ago. Stripping works, my friends have used it, but always have bad side affects like damaging your hair.
