    Once you get your citizenship
    I am asking for someone,

Once you get your citizenship of US, do you have to give up the retirement benefit in China?

Or is there a way that u can still get the retiement benefit, social securities while keeping US citizenship?

Thank you for reading it, let me know your thoughts, Thanks:)

It depends, some countries may not allow dual citizenship, she should ask at a Chinese consulate. Does your friend have any plans to stay in China for a few months a year?

    Thanks, Lowtax4eva,:)
Well, China doesn't allow dual citizenship.

I guess she staying in US for most of the time, maybe go back once a year the most for less than a month.

I just don't get it, since she has worked in China for 30 years then she moved to US, will become citizen soon, are they going to take her retirement benefit away because she moved here. Will the be notified on her moving?

Thanks, thank you for helping me with this. She is a lady I work with.:)
