    One year lease
I hope I'm in the right spot for this. Anyway, I signed a one year lease for an apartment because I figured I would be living (here) for at least a year, the thing is, I want to move out of state, and it has been coming up on five months now, I was wondering, do I have to live out the lease? Or is there some way I can shorten it to a six month, and move out then, any one know of any loopholes?

I used to rent a house. If a tenant wanted to get out of a lease, he would have just had to ask--but then, I had that loophole as part of the lease. Check your lease to find out what it says about terms of residency and penalties.

OK, thanks, I was just hoping there was something I could do to have things lean in my favor.

If the lease seems to say no way, then talk with your landlord to find out if you can break the lease and get out early. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Maybe the landlord wishes you would leave (hee hee).
